It was a peaceful, quiet afternoon as two friends, Peter and Dsarvess, were walking along a quiet forest pathway. Peter had discovered this peaceful route a few days ago, and he wanted to spend some time with a friend, get away from the city for a few hours. Dsarvess was eager to go as well, as he loved the outdoors and the quiet, and spending some time with a friend sounded appealing. Thus, the two of them found themselves walking along, enjoying the peace and quiet of the woods.

"Feels so good to get out of the city, doesn't it?" Peter chucked to his friend, taking a few gulps of drink from the bottle of soda he had on his person, offering a bottle to him as well.

"Yeah... The city's fine, I guess, but it's so much nicer out here..." Dsarvess responded, taking the soda and a few sips. "The only problem is, there aren't many people out here. Must be lonely sometimes."

"How do you mean?" Peter asked, a little puzzled. "The only things that live out here are animals, and they never seem to get lonely. Then again they do have considerable numbers."

"Yeah... I was thinking for people. I mean, if you were to just head out here for a while, there wouldn't be anyone else to talk to, no one who'd understand you. Just the animals who live out here." He shrugged. "I dunno. Just thinking out loud, I guess..."

"Well if someone was living out here that was lonely, I'm pretty sure that it would have made its presence known by now" Peter chuckled a little as they kept walking, eventually coming across a small clearing.

"Maybe. If we're going along this line of thought, though, maybe it's not sure how it ought to approach us. I mean, if you left civilization for a while, you'd probably forget proper greetings and stuff too." Dsarvess dropped himself down onto the grass. "I'd like to stop here for a bit; enjoy the sunshine. That okay with you?"

"That's fine with me. This looks like the perfect place to relax" He smiled, placing his bag down on the soft grass and pulling out the picnic they had prepared for this.

As the two of them rested in the clearing, enjoying their food and the sun, a large, winged creature peered shyly at them from the trees. It was unsure of whether or not it should reveal itself to them, but it had been so long since it had had any friends or companions... And it was so lonely...

Steeling its resolve, it sent a tendril of calming psychic energy toward the two, hoping to keep them from panicking when it introduced itself.

A small shiver ran down their spines as they felt the vein of energy flowing around them.

"What on earth was that about?" Peter asked, standing back up as he looked around. "I'm sure you felt that as well, right?"

"Ye- yeah... It didn't feel like a breeze or anything like that... Any idea what it could have been?" Dsarvess propped himself up on his hands and knees, glancing about before pointing into the trees. "It felt like it came from over there."

"I'll check this out, stay back just in case anything pops out and tries to attack us." He warned his friend as he carefully approached the bushes, moving step by step, keeping his guard up at all times.

As Peter cautiously approached, the creature steeled itself for the encounter. One deep breath later, the majestic silver and blue creature strode out of the bushes, letting the illusion that was hiding it fall away, and trying its best to project an aura of peaceful intent through its shy nervousness. It stood before the two, waiting for them to make the first move.

"Ho....ly...." Peter stood there, his jaw dropping at the sight of the draconic beast, looking up at it in a sense of pure wonder and awe. "This...this has to be a dream..." He told himself, pinching his arm. "Ack...nope, I'm wide awake."

The creature smiled softly, and stepped closer to Peter, pausing as it focused on forming unfamiliar human words to speak to them.

"Not a dream." It said, struggling to speak, and at once delve into their minds for the right words and sentences... "Are you two... Friends?"

"Yeah, we are." Peter nodded to it. "We met not too long ago, have the same interests and everything. I found this path the other day and thought he might like to join me for a bit of lunch."

Dsarvess was still dumbstruck by the sudden appearance of the creature, but found the strength in him to stand, and walk closer to the peaceful creature.

As he did so, it began to speak to them. "I am a protector of this forest... The only one." A saddened look entered its eyes, and it struggled to continue. "I have not had any friends... And so... I was wondering if I could also be a friend..."

"That's really sad." Peter said, resting a hand on its feathery side. "I'd be more than willing to be a friend though, and I'm sure Dsarvess would agree too." He smiled.

The creature smiled happily and wrapped its large wings around Peter. "Thank you. I was so afraid that you would leave, be afraid of me, and I would be alone again."

As Dsarvess stepped closer, it stretched out a wing and pulled him close as well. "The three of us can be friends now. Guardians of the forest together." It paused for a moment, suddenly struck by a thought, then cautiously spoke. "Would... Would you like to be more like me? A guardian? We can be friends with each other for a long time, then... my kind lives thousands of years."

Peter went wide eyed again, looking up at the majestic creature. "You're...you're saying the two of us...we could be transformed....into a Lugia like yourself? This...this is..like something out of a dream." He stammered.

It nodded slowly. "I could. You could. And remember, this isn't a dream." It stroked the two of them lightly with its tail. "See? I'm real... Do you want to be changed?"

"Sure. What do the two of us have to do?" Peter asked curiously, looking up at the draconian creature. "Do we have to do some sort of ritual, like in the movies?"

"I suppose. But it is a very simple ritual." The Lugia smiled, then winced for a moment as it pulled a pair of feathers from the back of one of its hand-like wings. "Here. Take these. All you must do is place it in your skin as if you grew the feather yourself and let it rest and work the change on you... And don't worry, it shouldn't hurt."

It offered a feather to each of the two. Dsarvess, taking the feather, waited for a few moments, his heart pounding. Then, he plunged the shaft of the feather into the back of his hand.

Peter just watched on as he saw a few drips of blood leak from his friend's hand, the quill firmly standing in it. There was nothing but silence for a good few seconds, but eventually that one feather began to glow, more feathers sprouting over his hand and arm.

"I... This... This is really happening, isn't it. I'm becoming a..." Dsarvess wrapped his arms, one feathered, the other still human, around the beaming and overjoyed Lugia. "Thank you..."

As he did that, he noticed that he was able to wrap them more and more across its broad stomach and back, his arms quickly growing in size and length, muscles swelling as his own hands grew impossibly huge, fingers growing wider, longer and flatter.

He turned to face Peter. "Come on! Do it! Let's transform together!" He grinned. "Or are you waiting for me to finish so that you can watch without being distracted by your own transformation?"

"I want to watch first, if you don't mind." He chuckled to his changing friend. "Get a good visual of what's going to happen to me."

The sleeves of his shirt tore apart as the feathery wing-hands grew to their full size, around 3 times his human body right now. As he continued to hug the Lugia, he felt his shirt beginning to grow tighter around him, his stomach starting to swell and expand, poking out past the bottom of his shirt.

Dsarvess released the Lugia, looking over his changing body. "I don't mind... but I think I'm starting to have a little trouble. It's getting... A little hard to breathe..." Placing his wing-hands on his still growing chest, he almost effortlessly tore his shirt asunder, releasing him to grow to his full size. "There... that's better... Much more comfortable now."

With his shirt torn off, his body quickly piled on mass, stomach ballooning outwards as light blue feathers began to grow over his stomach and upper chest, where they mixed in with the white plumage, forming a slight v-shape. With the sudden mass gain, he had also began to grow, a couple of feet larger than before yet still growing.

"Mm... Gyuuh... Gyaaas..." He murmured softly to himself, shaking his head and cracking his neck, eagerly anticipating the next part of the transformation. Turning for a moment to face Peter, he was struck by just how large he was rapidly becoming, as he now had to crane his head downward to see him properly.

"How are you feeling, friend?" He looked up at his friend, now around 10ft tall and still growing as he felt his spine stretch and extend, a long, slender tail starting to grow from the base of his spine as his trousers began to grow tight, leg muscles swelling.

"It feels wonderful... My tail feels like... like it was always supposed to be there, and I just didn't know it." Shifting and squirming, trying to shake his tail free of his clothes, he looked down at Peter. "I look forward to seeing how you like it. I can't wait for my face to change..."

"They say the best is usually saved for last." He chuckled as his trousers tore off, revealing his shorter, heavily muscled hind legs, covered in brilliant silver feathers. To follow that up, his feet burst out of his shoes, growing massive as his heels raised up slightly, toes fusing into three large round digits.

Cracking the joints in his newly changed feet, he strode over to his two friends, wrapping his still lengthening tail around the beaming Lugia, while embracing Peter with his wings. "This hike was an excellent idea, Peter." He said happily, "Thanks very much for suggesting it."

"No problem." He smiled back to him. "If I knew that this is how it would have ended, I would have told you sooner!" He laughed as his tail reached its full size, gently stroking the Lugia as two small blue spikes lined the tip of it. His form was mostly Lugian now, the only thing that was out of place was his human head sitting atop a draconic body.

"I must look like the most absurd thing." Dsarvess cracked his neck, and tried to stretch it outwards. "Gyaaaar.... Go on... Change soon...."

As he did that, it did indeed begin to grow and lengthen, his spine extending further as his head was zoomed up a good four or five feet away from his shoulders, feathers quickly growing up the length of it, reaching his head. Whilst that happened, ten large blue spines quickly grew out from his back, laid out in two rows of five.

"Gyaa.. Gyaaas! Lu-Gyaaaaas!?" He cried out in joy as he felt the change stat to overtake his mind. Giddy with joy, he craned his neck around, examining his body from every angle. "That felt wonderful..." Opening his mouth wide once more, he cried out again, welcoming the final stage of the change. "Gyyyaaaaas!"

"Keep singing" The both of us smirked to him as his hair began to recede into his morphing skull, his head growing into a large, curved point as his jaws began to push outwards, the sounds of pops and cracks being heard as his nose sank into his upper jaw, nostrils flaring wide.

"Luuu Gyaaa Yaaas!?" Dsarvess wailed happily, excited for his coming new life, lifting his head high into the air, crying out the most simple call of his new species again and again. "Gyaaas! Gyaaas! Gyaaaaaas!"

As he continued to sing his melodic song, his jaws finished stretching and altering, forming a large, beak-like muzzle. His teeth began to quickly grow into long, sharp fangs as his main canines merged with the lips of his maw. His tongue also filled out to fill the beak better, large and rounded. To finish it all off, his eyes moved to the sides of his head, turning a deep brown with slit pupils as a pair of deep blue spikes grew around them, ending it all, leaving him standing tall as a somewhat 15ft tall Lugia, matching the size of the original.

"Gyuh... Gyaaas...." Dsarvess shuddered, gradually regaining his composure. Turning to face the other Lugia, he hugged and nuzzled it briefly, before turning to face Peter.

"Well? Are you ready? I'm all finished up over here, and it feels wonderful. I don't want you to wait any longer than you have to." He smiled, and leaned down close to his human friend, eagerly watching him as he held the feather given to him.

"Trust me, I'm ready." He smiled, petting Dsarvess's head as he took his feather, placing it deep into his arm.

As the feather's shaft slid into his arm, he felt a deep pulsing sensation travel from it, and throughout his entire body. It only took a moment for the feather to become a natural part of his skin, and only another moment after that for more of them to star to emerge. Far too large for a human arm, but still feeling right as they crept along his arm to his shoulder and hand.

"Here we go!" He grinned, looking on intently at his arms and hands, watching the feathers spread like wildfire over them.

Dsarvess began to hum happily as he beheld his friend's arms beginning to thicken and swell. As they grew larger and longer, growing to fit the size of the immense feathers now beginning to cover his torso, Peter felt a heavy weight in the tips of his fingers. A weight that began to stretch and pull them. They grew steadily longer and larger, and eventually began to flatten as his palms stretched to fit his now massive wings. The weight faded away as they finished their growth into the massive wing-hands of a Lugia.

"Now these are looking good" He chuckled, giving them a couple of quick flaps. To his surprise, it took very little to get himself airborne, floating a few feet above the duo before landing back to the ground, wing-hands resting along the earth for the time being.

As he dropped back to the ground, an itching sensation entered his feet as he felt feathers grow along them. Within a few seconds, the itching had replaced itself with the pressure of too-small shoes, as he felt them begin to swell and grow larger. Simultaneously, the growing feathers crept up and rushed over the last places on his body that lacked them, covering his face and neck.

As his hair began to fall from his head, dislodged by his silvery plumage, Dsarvess and the original Lugia began to cry out softly, almost as an invitation for him to join them. "Gyaaar!? Gyaaa.? Lu-Gyaaaaasss...?""

"You want me to join you in that, eh?" He grinned. "Well I don't know how I'll sound right now, but I'll give it a try." He took in a slight breath before his attempt.

With a gasp, as he began to cry out in a discordant human voice, he felt a wave of joy wash over his mind. His face suddenly snapped and cracked, rapidly growing outward into a majestic muzzle. As it did so, he felt his voice shift, crack, and eventually settle into harmony with the other two. "Luuugiiiyaaasss!?" He felt the song of the species he would soon join flow over his tongue as it grew wide and rounded to fit his mouth, heard it pass through his sharp teeth as what were once his human canines grew large and broad, emerging through the side of his mouth. And as he sucked in another breath to cry out again, the pressure on his feet was suddenly relieved, his shoes splitting apart as the toes fused and lengthened, forming three massive digits on each limb. Gleeful, he couldn't help but continue the song. "Gyuh-Yaaas!"

He stood before the two Lugias, looking up at them proudly. He knew that it wouldn't be long before he reached their size, so he kept on singing that song, smiling all the while.

He felt the change continue up his feet, as his ankles grew wide, and the bones in them shifted, lifting the heels of his now digitigrade feet off the ground. The widening spread up his legs, his legs growing slightly longer, before becoming much thicker, straining against his clothes, growing to the size necessary to hold what his body will soon become.

He felt a light stinging in his eyes as they shifted, his skull assuming the same shape as the two crooning Lugia before him. As the stinging faded, his eyes become a deep blue, far deeper in shade as the mask-like spikes that began to creep off of his face, growing long and pointed.

"Nearly there now..." He purred between singing, nuzzling the sides of his two friends as he wrapped a wing-arm around each of them, gently embracing his brethren.

"Gyaar...? Gyaaas!? " His friends happily nuzzled the sides of his neck as it creaked loudly, beginning to grow longer and thicker. As the thickness of his neck increased, so did his head, slightly growing in size all around to match the scale that his body would soon have. His shorts split apart as his upper legs grew massive and thick, similarly to scale with a body he did not yet possess. "Lu-Ngyaaaar..." He crooned softly as he felt a limb that he just now realized he ought to have slid out from the base of his spine, a long slender tail, almost as long as he had been tall, a few moments ago.

His singing grew ever louder as he looked at his friends with complete adoration, his glance only shifting to see the tattered remnants of his humanity sitting around his huge feet. It was such a small loss for such power and friendship.

"Gyuur..." His friends nodded happily, feeling his adoration at the change being given to him. He opened his mouth to cry out in response, but felt a shuddering run down from his shoulders, peaking at ten points parallel his spine, as long, dark blue spikes emerged. The shuddering in his spine intensified as it began to stretch longer and longer, his body growing to the full size of a Lugia at long last. The change began to build in intensity as it entered the final stage, reducing him from singing with his companions to groaning the same cry over and over...

"Lugyuuuuhhh... Lugyuuuuhhh... " His shirt began to stretch and rip, his body beginning to rapidly build in bulk and height.

The trios singing began to echo throughout the forest, drawing in the local wildlife as the two Lugias looked over Peter, his changes nearing their end. He took a quick pause from his singing to look at the original Lugia.

"Thank you so much for sharing this gift...You've pretty much made yourself a friend for life." He smiled sweetly.

As Peter's growing torso tore the rest of his shirt apart, light blue feathers began to grow in a notched oval all over his chest and belly. As the transformation began to end, the original Lugia returned his smile, nuzzling his chest as its growth came to an end, having become incredibly large and powerful. "I'm glad... A friend for life..." It turned to face the Lugia that was, a little while ago, a human named Dsarvess. "Two friends for life. I'm so glad we can be together now... It won't be lonely any more." It lowered down a wing-hand to help him to his feet.

The trio finished their song as the freshly changed human took the Lugias wing-hand, standing up on his large hind legs now as he looked over his new form, purring contently as he admired what he had become.

"If this was a dream, I would NEVER want to wake up from it." Peter joked as he nuzzled the two Lugia gently.

"Yes..." Murmured Dsarvess, as he pulled the others close, embracing them with his wings. "But it's not a dream, so we don't have to wake up. We're friends now. All three of us. And we've all found something that we were looking for."

"Indeed. Although I am going to miss the friends that I had as a human...although..." A grin crossed his beak as he looked to his friends. "We could always have them join us. I know a few people who would literally sell their soul for this to happen."

The original Lugia nuzzled the two of them happily. "First I find friends, and then they tell me they will introduce me to more. I'm glad that I found you two." It lifted its hand to its beak, and plucked out a handful of feathers. "Shall we go and meet them?"
